DEAR BRA LADY:

I bulge out of the top of all the bras I buy. I used to think it was attractive but now I am very self-conscious about it, plus, I look like a bowl full of Jello when I walk. Can you suggest a style for me?

Answer: You need to be sized for a new bra, one that fits! Throw your old bras out. Your cup is way too small. Your whole breast should be fully supported with no breast tissue spilling over the top. When your breasts are supported you will feel much more comfortable and you will look trimmer. I will find you a distributor to fit you if you will send your address and phone number to me. Carol

WE DO PARTIES:

Bra parties are fun and a great service to your friends and a good way to earn your own bras and shape wear. You, me and two or three makes a party. You don't have to have a big group of girls. Keep it simple - just a few eats and something to drink. We find that everyone is interested in keeping their shape and looking thinner and younger. Most women are thrilled to be able to have a professional bra fitting because they are tired of their problems. We will go over our products describing the various benefits and then start fitting your friends. It's fun to see how different people look. There is no obligation for them to buy anything from us. KNOW SOMEONE WHO NEEDS TO BE FITTED:

If you know of someone who has never worn our bras and would like a fitting but lives in another part of the country, I will try to find a distributor for her in her area. It is helpful if I have her zip code along with her address and phone number. If she already wears our bras but has lost her distributor, maybe I can find someone to help her.

GETTING THE BEST FIT OUT OF YOUR BRA:

Do you need a fitting adjustment? Your new Jeunique custom-fit bra will be much more comfortable if you remember to do two things: (1) Wear the band high in the front and (2) low in the back. In other words, when you put your bra on, reach back and physically pull the bra down as far as possible. You will feel the front of the bra moving upwards. That is what you want. Now with the bra low in the back and high in the front, unhook each cup and pull the front covers down. Now that the cups are down, bring the breast tissue up from the rib cage and forward from under the arm and place it on the band. if you wish, bend over the let gravity help you. The band acts as a shelf supporting the breast. Bring the cup fronts back up and slide the cup clip into the strap clip and push in, thereby locking the clip in place. Now adjust your shoulder strap higher for a better lift. The lower you can wear the bra in the back the more comfortable it will be. The back should be an inch or two below the shoulder blades. These directions are in the bag with each new bra (along with pictures).

NEW"SMOOTHIE" BRA;

For those of you who have been waiting to order more of the new smoothies, our back shipment has arrived in all three colors. This bra has the same framework as our other bras but is of a smooth material with no line. It is not a padded bra. It is great under sweaters. It is a soft, smooth material with the same good support and uplift as the other bras. However, because of the softness of the material, this bra only is available in cup sizes C to G. NEW BRA LADIES:

We are happy to welcome two new recruits to our business: Lujuana Kreis from Mariposa, Ca, and Monica Berry from Enfield, Ct. Lu was in charge of food service at one of our national parks before signing on with the company. She said she couldn't find a distributor and decided she might as well be one! She came to Westfield for training in October and is up and running. Monica owns a bridal shop in Enfield, Ct. called Lewin's Bridal Boutique. She is running bra- fitting clinics at her shop monthly and is happy to be able to fill in the slow times in the bridal industry with a good bra and shapewear business. Both girls joined me in Palm Springs this week for advanced training - and a good time with bra ladies from all over the U.S. and Canada. We are a fun bunch!
