NEW MANUFACTURER

Just a note to let you know that we lost two manufacturers to the economy this year. However, things are looking up and we will be working with a new one in the near future.  You will still be able to get most of the bras we all love. In the meantime, we are working off our stock and that of our friends in the industry.  So far, everyone has been taken care of that was looking for bras and the new manufacturer has started production of our favorites.  We are looking forward to a good year in the bra business!

HARD TO FIND BRA SIZES

Do you wear something other than a D, like an F,  or a GG, or bigger?  If so, you know that those sizes are practically impossible to find.  Very few companies make anything bigger than a DD.  Those of you who have been buying from me know that most of my styles go way beyond what the stores carry.  An F, HH or K isn't unusual for me to fit someone in.  And guess what, when you have the right size cup you are so much more comfortable.

EXERCISE BRA BASICS

Anyone who exercises can tell you what they hate:  bouncing!  It hurts.  Consequently, many exercise bras are bought to help with this problem. Problem is, squishing your breasts tightly doesn't eliminate bouncing. In fact, squishing your breasts isn't good for them. You are cutting off good circulation and flattening them like a pancake which can alter their shape but doesn't eliminate the problem.  One of the things we do when we fit someone in one of our bras is have them jog in place. Guess what?  No bounce.  I mean it!  The bandarin that holds you up keeps you firmly supported with no squishing.  This is your regular bra! You don't need a special exercise bra!  All of our bras work the same way. No squishing and more comfort! That's also why I do so many day-long fitting sessions in athletic clubs.

WHAT CAN GOOD SUPPORT DO FOR YOU?

The obvious reasons for looking for better support are you'll  probably look slimmer and younger! But there's more to it than that. Good circulation is a big part of keeping our breasts healthy. With proper positioning of the breasts, circulation is increased. Also, lymnphatic fluid  now can flow freely through the breasts carring toxins away. The elimination of underwires also helps by allowing the lymphatic fluid to flow unimpeded away from the breasts.  Jeunique bras do not have underwires. The breasts are held up and in place by a special bandarin built into the bras which eliminates the need for any wires. The ultimate result is you are held firmly in place and are much more comfortable.

FITTING BASICS

What happens during a fitting? It's all a very simple process. After taking into account your history and any problems that you need addressed, measurements are taken with your shirt off, your bra on. Measurements only get me into the ballpark for fitting you. You are measured around the upper chest, around the breasts and around the rib cage. These numbers draw a picture of your body shape along with giving me the numbers to calculate the cup size and band size. The shape of your breasts, the distance between them, and the amount of breast tissue under your arms help determine which style will work on you. Each bra style fits a different body type and since there is no standardization in sizing between styles or between bra manufacturers, you might wear a different size in each style you try on, and some styles will not fit your body type at all. All of my bras are sized in half-cup increments for better fitting, which is unheard of when you go to a store. So, if you are inbetween sizes, we can find you a better fit than you've been able to find. True cup sizes and sizes unavailable in stores (like cups going up to K) are what make our bras unique.

WHERE ARE YOUR BREASTS?

Where should your breasts be positioned? The APEX, or nipple line, is suppose to be located half way between your elbow and your shoulder when wearing a bra (or, approx. six inches down from the top of your shoulder). Why is that? It's because that's where manufacturers of clothing place the darts and design clothes to drape properly. (It's also where your breasts originally started from!) Bringing them up to where they are suppose to be means you will get your midriff back again, which will make you look thinnner! You will find your figure has more definition and your clothes will fit better as well.

BRA PROBLEMS

Back pain, as well as shoulder and neck pain, can be caused by an ill-fitting bra. Too much weight in front puts too much pressure on those body parts. Other symptoms include tingling in the fingers, and arm and hand paralysis. A bra that supports you from around the rib cage instead of just from the shoulder straps will alleviate a lot of pain. All of my bras do this. They also help you stand up straighter. If you aren't in my area, contact me, and I will try to find someone near you to fit you.

BRA SIZING PROBLEMS

Did you know that there is no standardization of sizing between bra manufacturers? What does that mean? It means that a C cup in one company is not the same as a C cup in another company. Besides that, each style fits a different body shape. That's why you have such a hard time fitting yourself. It keeps me in business, though.

NEW OWNERS, NEW STOCK

New stock will be arriving this month, according to our new owners. That means that back orders will finally be on their way to you. Thanks for hanging in there with us.
